Once at the Matumi pack house, the market order is off loaded.
All produce is organised and refrigerated.
Items are then selected and weighed according to orders.
Produce is repacked onto pallets.
Everything is invoiced and then loaded onto refrigerated trucks.
Fresh produce is then distributed to supermarkets in the surrounding area.
Chefs that have placed custom orders for their guests receive their orders with ample time to make stunning dishes.
Hotels in the surrounding area can rely on Matumi Fresh to deliver on time every time.
We work hand in hand with local farmers. Who deliver their crop to Matumi. It is then allocated to a truck and sent to the Johannesburg Market.
The farmers harvest is off loaded at the market ready to be purchased.
